Bodgaya is about 41 Kms away from Basmata Mission. This region is engrossed by hills and forests. The TOR friars had started this place and took care of it till 1972. It is in the Chandan block of Banka District.This substation was raised to a parish by Bishop Kurien. There are 60 Catholic Families. Priests from Basmata used to climb mountains to reach this place. Now there is a good road which connects villages of this mountainous region. |
