Dulabitha was a Mass centre of Maheshmunda parish. When Belatanr was made a Parish, Fr. Jacob Kollamparampil made a village chapel at Dulabitha. This was a sub-station of Belatanr and was separated as Parish in 1982. Rev. Fr. Celestine Murmu was the first resident Parish Priest. Simultaneously Holy Cross Sisters started their convent. The new Church was built by Rev. Fr. C. J. Mathew and was blessed on May 3, 1994.
