There are 600 students from KG to class VII in this mission school. Even though Jirli is situated in a remote village many children from different villages got educated in this mission school. Those who completed class VII enrolled themselves for their further studies in Dakaita School. Though Jirli is economically backward, they are very forward in sports and games. Rev. Fr. Xavier Hembrom was appointed as the first parish priest of this newly established parish.
