Khorimahua, a sub-station of Maheshmunda was separated at the end of the year 1988. When Rev. Fr. A. C. Mathew was the parish priest in Maheshmunda, the SCNs joined the parish and settled in a village called Dumardih as it had many catholics which was very close to Khorimahua. Priests from Maheshmunda, on alternative days, were celebrating Holy Mass for Sisters. In 1988, Khorimahua was made a separate parish and Rev. Fr. Simon Murmu was appointed as the first resident priest who lived in a room attached to the church which was blessed in 1984. The new presbytery was later built by Rev. Fr. Simon Murmu. The School is managed by the SCN Sisters. |
