The Diocese of Bhagalpur was entrusted with the administration of St. Joseph’s English Medium School of NTPC at Kahalgaon. It was here that the Diocese started a school of its own, a little away from NTPC, along Kahalgaon- Bhagalpur road. This School was established in 1989 at Pakartala. Late Rev. Fr. Joseph Thanniparampil was the first principal of the School. A few villages from Dakaita and Sourichakala parishes were attached to Pakartala and thus it became a parish. Sisters of Missionaries of Jesus render their service in this parish and School. St. Joseph’s School, Pakartala was established in 1989. It is the best sought after school in this region. |
