Sevatanr was a sub-station of Tilkimaran parish, where occasionally the Holy Mass was offered for the available few Catholic families in ‘Asurih’ village. Fr. Emmanuel Murmu purchased one acre of land in Sevatanr village and built a Chapel upto roof level which was completed by Fr. Thomas Marandi and it was raised as Parish in the year 2015. Thereafter Fr. Paulus Marandi was appointed as its administrator.
