The mother Parish of the Susni Church is Damruhat. From 1982 onwards the faithful were regularly in touch with Damruhat Parish. But for Holy Mass they used to go to Kaerasol village which was the substation of Agiamore Parish and it was only 5 kms away from Susni. In 1997, when Rev. Fr. Peter Goveas took over as the first Parish Priest of Susni, the villages of Asna and Kaerasol were bifurcated from Agiamore Parish and annexed to Susni. In 2002, Bethany Sisters began to render their services to the mission in shaping into a full-fledged Parish with a high School and a Health Center. |
