This parish was established in 2015 by bifurcating Katibari and Siktia parishes, formerly managed by the Franciscan friars. This is close to the road between Godda and Poreyahat. Rev. Fr. Christu Raj was the father-in-charge, who was the parish priest of Siktia Parish. He built a beautiful church in Bhatonda which was blessed by Bp. Kurien Valiakandathil in 2017. |
