Dhanbasa was a Mass Center of Baccha. This mission station was started by Fr. C. J. Mathew. Villages around Dhanbasa and a few villages from Leela were joined together to create Dhanbasa Parish. The first Parish Priest, Fr. Joachim Vegas, came to Dhanbasa on May 01, 2011. Sisters of Mary Immaculate render their service to this mission. There are both English Medium and Hindi Medium Schools in Dhanbasa. The English Medium School was inaugurated by Rt. Rev. Bishop Kurien Valiakandathil in the month of March, 2014. |
