Hindla is a Parish bifurcated from Mariampahari. When Mariampahari was handed over to Bhagalpur diocese in 1970, Hindla was a substation of Mariampahari. Lack of road and due to long distance from Mariampahari, Hindla was put under Garhi Parish. When Hindla was under Mariampahari, a Middle School was functioning there. A village church and a two room building were made. Two lay Sisters worked for some time and the number of children in the school considerably increased. A new school building is constructed and a boarding house also is constructed recently.
